Avengers Campus has quite a few hidden gems for fans to find. But to understand a few of them, you need to know the land’s backstory.
Many decades ago, this was home to a Stark Industries complex, the company owned by Iron Man’s father, Howard Stark. When Tony inherited the land from his father, he converted it to a superhero recruitment campus…but left a few traces of his father’s legacy behind.
One such trace is today’s hidden gem. Look outside the WEB building, and you’ll see signs reserving two parking spaces. One for “H. Stark” (Howard Stark):
And one for E. Jarvis (Edwin Jarvis), the Stark family’s loyal butler and the basis for J.A.R.V.I.S., Tony’s AI system that later evolves into Vision.
The signs for these parking spaces may be a bit beat up, but they’re still proudly standing. I like to think Tony left them there intentionally, paying tribute to two very important men in his life.
A nice touch of “realism” – their condition looks like any old parking sign you’d find in a company parking lot (if you’re lucky to work for one that actually provides parking… don’t get me started!!!)
