Enchanted Chamber

2008 – present

LOCATION

Fantasyland – This shop has the distinction of being the only retail space actually inside the castle. If you walk through the drawbridge, you’ll see the entrance on your left. If you approach from greater Fantasyland, head to the right side of the castle. You’ll see the shop between the drawbridge and the entrance to the Castle Walkthrough.

EXPERIENCE

Details:

  • Merchandise – Princess toys/games/costumes/accessories, mugs, ornaments
  • Price Range – Toys & accessories often under $20, some pricier costume sets or collectibles over $100
  • Unique Features – Briar Rose’s Birthday Cake, massive Sleeping Beauty diorama behind the sales counter, stained glass windows

The Enchanted Chamber sits in one of the busiest sections of the park, but its secretive location means most guests never even notice its entrance. Step inside the Chamber for a glimpse at the park’s medieval wonderland; the beams, light fixtures, and painted ceiling provide an incredible backdrop for fairytale merchandise.

SHOPPING TIPS

Like the rest of the Fantasyland center court, the Enchanted Chamber closes about 30 minutes before the fireworks. Tons of guests flood back into Fantasyland when it reopens, so though the shop likely won’t be busy, crowds in this area spike. If you’d like to visit the Chamber, make sure to swing by before the area starts shutting down for the show.

TRIVIA

Despite the shop’s small quarters, it actually has two entrances! One sits beneath the castle archway and the other faces Fantasyland.

This space once housed the Castle Heraldry Shoppe, before a larger retail space opened up across the courtyard.
