November 2016 – present
LOCATION
Downtown Disney – Sprinkles sits right in the middle of Downtown Disney’s large central courtyard. Whether you’re coming from the hotels side or the parks side, walk until you reach the path widens into a large circle. You’ll see Sprinkles on the southern side (left from the parks end, right from the hotels end), overlooking Uva Bar.
EXPERIENCE
Details:
- Merchandise – cupcakes and sweet treats
- Price Range – Most items under $5, with dozen sets up to $50
- Unique Features – none (honestly, this is the least decorated/more basic shop in the district)
Marceline’s Confectionary is not the only bakery designed to tempt you in Downtown Disney. Located just a few doors down, Sprinkles sells the brand’s famous cupcakes and cookies, and even offers larger sets you can take home with you. As you walk by, you’ll undoubtedly be able to smell those cupcakes…and might find yourself wandering in.
SHOPPING TIPS
Sprinkles is a really tiny store, especially for Downtown Disney, so don’t be intimidated if you see a line outside. Most shoppers queue up outside the store to prevent overcrowding (even pre-pandemic), and the line moves fairly quickly.
TRIVIA
The Sprinkles chain started in Beverly Hills in 2005.
You’ll also find a Sprinkles shop in Disney Springs (Walt Disney World). This version of the shop includes a hidden Mickey made from their logo.
