For the time being, Disneyland California Adventure cannot open and operate normally. But starting this month, California Adventure will be offering a special ticketed event that will open up more of the park. This event, “A Touch of Disney”, will follow the model of the Food & Wine Festival.
From March 18 to April 5 (Thursdays through Mondays from noon to 8 pm), guests can purchase $75 tickets to enter California Adventure. This ticket includes free parking, unlimited PhotoPass photos taken at specialty photo locations, and a $25 dining card toward the event-exclusive food offerings. Some of these foods will include Disneyland park favorites, like Dole Whip and the Monte Cristo sandwich.
You’ll be able to find special food offerings at the following locations:
- Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats
- Award Wieners
- Cocina Cucamonga
- Smokejumpers Grill
- Pop-up kiosks (like at Food & Wine)
During the event, Disney has also teased character meet and greets. While there’s no official list, the Parks Blog hinted at Mickey Mouse, Mater, Lightning McQueen, Joy, and Sadness. You’ll also hear special event music playing through the park.
Keep in mind – NO attractions will be in operation during this event.
