1. Why do the ticket scan lines take SO LONG??? (submitted by Paula)

Unfortunately some park visitors truly have no idea what they’re doing. You’d be amazed how many guests don’t have mobile tickets ready when they get to the gate, or something’s wrong with their reservation, etc. I once got stuck in a gate line behind someone who held up the whole line because she was caught trying to sneak her kid in beneath a pile of blankets on a stroller. The cast members generally do the best they can to keep lines moving, but there’s only so much they can do.

2. Is Disneyland serving alcohol now? (submitted by Joey)

Yes. It’s not as readily available as in California Adventure or Downtown Disney (no beer carts for example), but Disneyland is no longer a dry park.

3. I’ve seen roped off chairs in front of the castle before fireworks shows. Who are those for? (submitted by Ainsley)

Those seats are reserved for VIPs, Club 33 patrons, and guests who book private tour guides (group tours don’t count).

4. Can I ship a fragile souvenir home instead of dealing with it in my luggage? (submitted by Kathleen)
