1. What time do I need to get to Disneyland to get a boarding group for Rise of the Resistance? (submitted by Cara)
On weekdays, give yourself at least 30 minutes to get through security and into the gates before park opening. On weekend days or holidays, I’d recommend an hour. You have to be scanned into the park at opening and IMMEDIATELY open the app to request a boarding group in order to get one.
2. Why isn’t MaxPass free? (submitted by Geo)
I don’t know – you’d have to ask Disney! I think it’s insane that MaxPass costs money, considering Disney World has digital fast pass for free through the My Disney Experience app.
3. Better bar – Lamplight Lounge or Trader Sam’s? (submitted by Mike)
Oh gosh. I’d say Trader Sam’s has better drinks, Lamplight Lounge has better food to go with the drinks. Both have an awesome atmosphere – it’s impossible to declare one the obvious winner!
4. Where is the Goofy kitchen? (submitted by Leanne)
Goofy’s Kitchen is on the Disneyland Hotel grounds, behind the pools.
5. Does Galaxy’s Edge open later in the morning like Mickey’s Toontown does? (submitted by Chad)
Nope – Galaxy’s Edge opens as part of regular park opening.
