Grizzly Peak is the Disneyland Resort’s current “bear country”, but it wasn’t always that way. And one hidden gem inside of this land pays tribute to the Bear Country that came before it. Let’s go find Big Al.
To visit him, let’s head toward the Grizzly River Run.

To the left of the attractions entrance, you might see a familiar looking statue.
This is Big Al, one of the starts of the Country Bear Jamboree. This attraction ran in Disneyland from 1972 to 2001, and still operates today in Orlando’s Magic Kingdom.

Big Al has long been a fan favorite of Country Bear Jamboree fans, so I think it’s great we have a little tribute to him over in Grizzly Peak!

Gosh, that took me back! I remember singing along (quietly) with Big Al during the show.
To “Blood on the Saddle”? Haha
