Creature Stall

May 2019 – present

LOCATION

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge – The Creature Stall anchors the western side of Batuu’s marketplace. If you’re coming from the Rise of the Resistance side of the land, head through the square courtyard and into the row of shops. You’ll see the Creature Stall on your right, across the walkway from the Toydarian Toymaker. If you’re coming from the Millennium Falcon/Oga’s Cantina side of the land, walk through Ronto Roasters and keep to your left. You will see the Creature Stall at the end of the row of shops, just after the Jewels of Bith.

EXPERIENCE

Details:

  • Merchandise – all kinds of creatures – plush, plastic, rubber, you name it.
  • Price Range – most plush animals range from $30 – $60, with a few cheaper options
  • Unique Features – sleeping animatronic loth cat in the center of the shop

If you’re an animal person – or fascinated by the variety of species in Star Wars – then you’ve come to the right place. The Creature Stall has all kinds of galactic companions for sale, from the cute and cuddly to the downright creepy. Plus, don’t forget to take a look around the shop – you’ll find a few creatures not for sale, but who’ve stopped by just to say hello.

SHOPPING TIPS

This is one of Batuu’s most popular shops, and for good reason. The merchandise is so much fun to look at! The good news is that crowds tend to cycle through reasonably quickly, since there isn’t much real estate here. So my advice is just to have a little patience and make sure you circle the complete store – there are a LOT of different creatures you may not notice right away.

Bonus: if you want to visit the shop with as few crowds as possible, I’d recommend heading here either first thing in the morning, or during the fireworks when crowds gather to watch.

TRIVIA

The Creature Stall’s proprietor, Bina, is never around to greet shoppers. She’s busy exploring the galaxy for creatures in need of a loving home.

Do some of these creatures look vaguely familiar? You’ll find a lot of Kowakian monkey-lizards, a favorite pet of Jabba the Hutt.
