You probably haven’t thought too much about the soda you drink as you wander Disneyland. But for the first few decades of park operation, there was a battle happening for dominance in the park: Pepsi vs. Coca-Cola. The grand prize? Exclusivity across the park.

Coca-Cola sold drinks in Disneyland from day one, and Pepsi quickly became widely available too. In fact, Pepsi sponsored It’s A Small World at the New York World’s Fair, before the attraction arrived in Disneyland. Restaurants in the park sold either one soda or the other. The exception was Space Place, which sold both brands.
Territory generally split by west and east; Pepsi dominating Adventureland and Frontierland, while Coke claimed marketshare in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland.

The Cola Wars finally came to an end in 1990. Coca-Cola struck a deal with Disneyland, becoming the exclusive soda provider across the entire park. If you ever forget which brand won the battle for the park, just take a look at the Refreshment Corner on Main Street.
I was told Coke gives Disneyland free cups and free Coke syrup the rest is at Cokes lowest price
